Since 2012, our brand's iconic signature side inlays have been featured on every pair of Westward Leaning sunglasses. This slanted parallelogram on each temple (the material inlay is literally leaning) has become the identifiable logo mark across all Westward Leaning styles.
We source the most beautiful materials from around the world, and each is meticulously hand-inlaid into the frame for the perfect fit.
To date, we've featured 50+ unique materials on the sides of our frames: reclaimed redwood, marble, gemstone, anodized aluminum, iridescent mirroring, beading and embroidery, and even hand-cut pieces of elk antlers (naturally-shed) collected by Boy Scouts from US National Parks.

We use only the best CR-39, polycarbonate, and nylon lenses, available in over 40 unique & beautiful lens colors. The wide array reflects our love of color and versatility, which is displayed in our wide range of colorways.
Including strong mirrors, colorful transparents, two-toned horizons and subtle ombrés, each of our lenses is thoughtfully selected to create the most beautiful collection and variety of options.
All Westward Leaning lenses are shatterproof and feature 100% UV protection.
Our frames use only the finest acetate, a natural, biodegradable plastic that is simply the best material for eyewear. Acetate's natural flexibility allows you to adjust for the perfect fit. It is not cold to the touch, and actually forms to the contours of your head over time. We are proud to offer more than 30 acetate colors, all carefully hand-finished, whether matte or shiny.
The comfort and durability of our acetate construction ensures these will be your favorite frames for years to come.
