Good things come in pairs and the latest food and fashion collaboration from Westward Leaning and Chantal Guillon was no exception. In April 2018, Westward Leaning offered the "Coffee Mint" wayfarer, "Red Velvet" cateye, and "Sparkling Champagne" aviator from the limited edition Les Deux capsule collection. Customers received a complimentary set of six beautiful Chantal Guillon macarons (2 of each flavor) with each purchase.
Chantal Guillon brought her successful macaron business from Paris to San Francisco in 2008, and quickly became known as the must-have French Macaron of the West Coast - combining Parisian tradition with California innovation. Tres bon!
COLORFUL, FLAVORFUL, CHARITABLE, AND FUN!
Though the two companies see eye-to-eye on the importance of fine craftsmanship, customers found that this campaign didn't take itself too seriously. During the campaign you could stop by Chantal Guillon's Hayes Valley shop to play the Westward Leaning claw machine game and make a small donation for a chance to win the limited edition sunglasses and boxes of delicious macarons. Win or lose, all game proceeds went towards the NorCal sector of the Boys and Girls Club of America.
To celebrate the launch of this tasty collaboration we invited our Bay area friends to enjoy sweet treats at Chantal Guillon's Hayes Valley store. Guests tried their hand at the claw machine while sipping champagne and styling our three collaboration frames.
