Since 2012, our brand's now-iconic SIDE INLAYS have been featured on every pair of Westward Leaning sunglasses. To date, we've featured 50+ unique materials on the sides of our frames: reclaimed redwood, marble, gemstone, anodized aluminum, iridescent mirroring, beading and embroidery, and even hand-cut pieces of elk antlers collected by Boy Scouts from US National Parks.

All these unique material "swatches" are hand-inlaid into a rhombus-shaped groove on the side of the glasses. This slanted parallelogram, because it is visible on each temple (the material inlay is leaning....get it), has become the identifiable feature across all our multiplying styles.
