THE ACHIEVEMENT

Wintermute is the name of the artificial intelligence in William Gibson's 1984 novel, Neuromancer. If you haven't read Neuromancer, you should: it's the quintessential cyberpunk novel, which popularized the term cyberspace and was the first novel to win the "triple crown" of science fiction awards.

If that isn't enough of a recommendation, we offer a free digital copy of Neuromancer from Amazon with purchase. Just email us at help@westwardleaning.com for your copy.

THE MATERIAL

The lenses for this model feature a mirrored coating in either tarnished gold or blackened silver. The reflection of the lenses is both muted and subtle, for an understated take on the neon lenses trend and an appropriate visual homage to Gibson's artificial intelligence. The varied unique materials, from mirrored to aluminum inlays, work together with our muted mirrored lenses for designs that are evocative of Neuromancer's gritty dystopian landscape.

This model features muted silver mirrors with aluminum inlays in a two-tone acetate frame.
